Student Financial Aid > Apply for Aid

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the application for all types (grants, loans and employment) of financial aid at UND. The FAFSA is a "need analysis" form that collects financial information used to determine how much you (and your family, if applicable) are expected to contribute to your education.

The 2008-2009 FAFSA (or Renewal Application) is available after January 1, 2008 and is used to apply for financial aid for Fall 2008, Spring 2009 and/or Summer 2009. REMEMBER: Student financial aid does not automatically continue from year to year, you MUST REAPPLY every year!

The 2009-2010 FAFSA (or Renewal Application) is available after January 1, 2009 and is used to apply for financial aid for Fall 2009, Spring 2010 and/or Summer 2010.

The priority date for 2008-2009 financial aid at UND is March 15, 2008.

This means that your FAFSA must be received by the federal processing center by March 15 to meet this priority date.

The FAFSA is available at college or university financial aid offices, your high school counselor’s office or you can apply electronically through FAFSA on the Web.

www.fafsa.ed.gov

You can check the processing status of your FAFSA or request a duplicate Student Aid Report (SAR) at FAFSA on the Web, or you can call 1-800-4 FED AID (1-800-433-3243).

Need to make a correction to your FAFSA?  Corrections on the Web allows you to make changes to all information except your social security number and date of birth.

You must have a PIN in order to access your record.
