The College Reading class is a two credit course designed to assist college students to move from a pre-college reading level to a college reading level. It also presents a systematic way of approaching college textbook material that can make students more efficient in the study skills integral to their college success. Comprehension skills will be introduced early in the course and integrated throughout the class. The exercises prepare students to read a selection and give them an opportunity to apply comprehension and study skills during and after reading.
