Harassment Training

All new UND employees and all current employees who previously have not completed the mandatory harassment training program are required to do so as a condition of employment. Each employee should only complete ONE version of the training; either computerized on-line or acknowledge the required reading.

1. If employees are: full-time faculty and staff, graduate teaching and research assistants, and part-time faculty who teach at least one class each semester, are required to take the on-line (computerized) harassment training. The module you take will depend on your job responsibilities.

2. All temporary and part-time staff, graduate service assistants and graduate assistants who do not teach or supervise are required to READ the harassment training information (word version) (pdf version) and acknowledge their understanding. The signed acknowledgment is sent to the Affirmative Action Office at Box 7097. If assistance is needed, please contact us.

Please note that work study students or institutionally employed students are not required to take either training. If you need special assistance, please contact the Affirmative Action Office.

Instructions on Completing the ONLINE Harassment Training Module

  • Step 1. Go the Internet and type in type following: http://www.employertraining.com
  • Step 2: Click the LOG ON button. Then click CREATE USER.
  • Step 3: Enter the following information:
    • First Name: Enter your first name.
    • Last Name: Enter your last name.
    • User Name: Insert your EmplID# (EMPLOYER ID) number. It is very important that you ensure you have typed in the correct number to obtain credit for completing the module!
    • Password: Insert a password of your choice that is 4 to 7 letters. Please write down this password in case you need to finish completion at a later time.
    • Company ID: This will depend on the position you hold at UND:
      • Deans and Department Heads: undfm
      • Administrators and Managers: undm
      • Faculty and Graduate Students: undf
      • Staff: unde

        Completing the module at home? Ensure that you have Computer Technical Specifications for Internet Use:

    266 MHz Pentium processor or higher
    Windows 95/98/2000/NT Operating System
    Flash 5 plug-in
    4.0 or better Netscape or IE browser
    DSL, T1, LAN or other high-speed connection
    Sound Card

    The program will also be supported on the following platforms, but users may experience reduced performance:

    133 MHz Pentium processor or higher
    Mac operating system with 4+ browser
    56K modem line
    No Sound Card
