For Faculty and Staff

Welcome to the Adapt Peer Education website!

Dear UND Faculty and staff,

On behalf of the University of North Dakota Peer Education Adapt Team, we would like to thank you for your commitment to the students of UND. UND Peer Educators are UND students who are committed to creating a campus social environment that provides lower-risk choices for students and promotes and reflects the attitudes, behaviors, and values of a healthy lifestyle. The Peer Educators are trained to facilitate on-campus and off-campus workshops, one-to-one assessments of personal alcohol use, and fun programs, such as Night Life @ UND!

In order to fully integrate our mission into the lives of university students, we believe the involvement of faculty and staff members is crucial. You play an important role in the students' academic experience. With a better understandignand knowledge of the diverse situations that students face, you as faculty members can become influential in areas other than academics. Our hope is that you as faculty feel comfortable enough to direct students in a direction that will help them with any concerns they are facing.

Please feel free to contact the University Counseling Center or the Adapt Peer Education office for more information on what you can do to help.

Sincerely,

Adapt Peer Educators
