As well as the pioneer of the solarplate method within printmaking, Dan Welden has worked with numerous artists and has produced an abundance of beautiful art pieces. Welden graduated from the Adelphi University in Garden City, New York in 1967 with his Masters in Art. After New York, he went on to the Academy of Arts in Munich, Germany for more schooling. In 1972, he opened his own press, but today you will find Welden traveling and speaking about his works.
