K-12 TEACHER LICENSURE:

Students who wish to become secondary art teachers must fulfill all the requirements for the B.F.A. with Major in Visual Arts program as well as the Department of Teaching and Learning requirements in the Teaching and Learning section. Teachers completing this program are eligible for a K-12 license in visual arts in North Dakota. This must include T&L 400, Methods and materials in secondary Art Education. Admission to the Teacher Education program is normally sought while enrolled in T&L 325 (see College of Education and Human Development listing in UND Catalog).
