After graduating from the University of Wisconsin in 1967, and then again in 1872 with an MFA in ceramics, Sandra Blain has been making beautiful ceramic art pieces. Blain often uses found objects to make impressions into her clay, thus creating texture. Not only does she require that texture play an important role in her pieces, but color and form as well. Up until 2004, Blain taught as a professor at the University of Tennessee in the Art Department. |
