The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of North Dakota has a long tradition of preparing thoughtful and engaged citizens. While we still value traditional educational goals, you will find us preparing students to question and understand the world's rapidly expanding knowledge base. We challenge them to work alongside faculty and within the community to explore and expand the boundaries of knowledge and their own creativity.
As we focus on preparing students to make informed choices and succeed in an increasingly global environment, we provide educational experiences that merge the best of our traditions with state-of-the-art undergraduate and graduate education. All students gain a strong liberal arts background, providing a solid foundation for multiple future careers. Many pursue a degree in the fine arts, sciences, humanities, and social sciences. Some choose programs that merge several disciplines or cross international boundaries. A few even complete degrees from afar or pursue certificates for specialized training to enhance their career options. |
