Correbia elongata (Dognin)

The type specimen of Chlorospinus elongata Dognin, dorsal, ventral and labels, respectively. The specimen is located in the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington DC, USA.

Description in Hampson (1898): "Female. Head black, shot with blue; thorax and abdomen brick-red; patagia brown; legs brown, the femora red; abdomen with ventral series of white points. Fore wing red-brown, with triangular termnal yellow patch at tornus. Hind wing hyaline, witht he veins and terminal area black-brown.

Hab. Ecuador, Loja. Exp. 34 millim. This species is unknown to me."
