The fields of cellular and molecular biology are strongly represented within the Biology Department. Currently, there are 10 faculty who conduct research in cellular, molecular, developmental biology, neurobiology, genetics, evolution of plant reproductive systems, and physiology. A MS and PhD degree are offered, and the department provides a strong curriculum, modern facilities and cutting-edge equipment to ensure broad training and marketability within this field.
