| The fields of evolution and ecology are strongly represented within the Biology Department. Currently, there are 14 faculty who conduct research in molecular, quantitative and population genetics, systematics, biogeography, evolution of plant reproductive systems, physiological and behavioral ecology, spatial population ecology, ecosystem ecology, and conservation and restoration ecology. A MS and PhD degree are offered, and the department provides a strong curriculum, modern facilities and cutting-edge equipment to ensure broad training and marketability within this field. |
