The coursework leading to the undergraduate degree is designed to prepare the student to become a lifelong learner, a critical thinker, and a problem solver. The coursework is also designed to prepare the undergraduate major to pursue professional and graduate work, including a graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. A graduate degree in either field of communication disorders is required to work as a Speech-Language Pathologist or an Audiologist.
