Administrator: Planned System Outage

CONFIRMED: Planned Blackboard System Downtime
The Blackboard System will be unavailable August 12, 2009 for the installation of new hardware. We anticipate it being unavailable from 1:00 AM until 9:00 PM to allow for data migration and system testing. This hardware upgrade will help to provide the highest quality of service to Blackboard users allowing future growth and stability.

Administrator: New Blackboard Hardware Tidbit

Blackboard is here this week. We are testing our new hardware preparing for a Fall launch. The new hardware will help to provide a stable reliable Blackboard enviroment. We will be releasing more information regarding the upgrade soon.

Administrator: Planned Blackboard Outage

OUTAGE: Tuesday 7-7-09 4 AM to 7 AM the state network equipment will be upgraded. This will cause an outage for users attempting to connect to the Blackboard system from off campus.

We just received our last shipment of servers for the Balckboard Hardware Upgrade. We plan to have this hardware in place for the Fall semester.

Administrator: Planned Blackboard Outage

ITSS will be replacing a gateway router on Wednesday June 24, 2009 from 5 AM to 7 AM. During this time access to the Blackboard System from off campus will be interupted. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this installation.

Support: Tips and Tricks Blackboard 8 Grade Center

The Blackboard system was recently upgraded to version 8.0. This upgrade provided performance enhancements, as well as a significant change to the Grade Center (formerly called the Gradebook).

During the past few weeks we have gathered some Tips & Tricks related to frequently asked questions from Blackboard users. We have taken time to post these answers for user reference in the Blackboard Help tab within Blackboard. The Blackboard Support Team plans to continue posting Tips & Tricks at this location on a regular basis to keep our users informed.
