Undergraudate Program Description

This program is a cooperative venture which pools the resources of the Departments of Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, and Criminal Justice. The purpose of the program leading to a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in the College of Arts and Sciences is to prepare students for positions as practitioners within criminal justice professions while also offering educational upgrading for individuals already working in criminal justice fields. By incorporating the various disciplines, departments and colleges along with their respective faculty, the program is able to integrate the various approaches and ideals to the study of criminal justice.
