How to a View a WebEx Recording

The NDUS ConnectND Training and Documentation is available in three formats: PDF, HTML, and WebEx Recording. You may want to set your monitor resolution to 800X600 prior to viewing the WebEx Recording so it will be larger on your computer screen. Click on the WebEx Recording format shown in green text.

 ie: Version 6.0: Always Clear the Cache: WebEx Recording. This should automatically begin the download procedure for the WebEx Client (Player), put the WebEx Player shortcut on your desktop, and begin playing the WebEx recording. The following will walk you through this procedure step by step.

You may get a Security Alert window stating You are about to view pages over a secure connection. Please click the OK button to continue.

The FIRST TIME you try to view a web streamed WebEx Recording, a Security Warning window will appear asking Do you want to install and run "WebEx Client" ... Please click the Yes button to allow the WebEx Client (Player) to be installed on your computer so you may view the WebEx Recording. This will only occur the first time.

You may see a ONE MOMENT PLEASE and a PLAYBACK IN PROGRESS window flash before the recording begins. Please wait until these windows are done. The time this takes varies depending on the speed of your CPU and the time of day.

If you have not already done so please turn your speakers on to hear the narration portion of the WebEx Recording. The WebEx Player will automatically appear. You can move the player out of the way by clicking in the title bar and dragging it to the bottom or side of your screen.

You can pause the recorded session by clicking on the Pause button, click on the button again to continue playing the recording from where it left off. The square Stop button will stop the session. If you wish to play it again with the Play button it will start at the beginning of the recording. The Double Arrow pointing right is the Forward button and the double Arrow pointing left is the Rewind button. If you wish to fast forward the recording drag the marker below the time expired area in black to the right. The close box on the top right will stop and close the recording.

When you close the session you will be notified that The Web page you are viewing is trying to close the window. Do you want to close this window? Click the Yes button to continue.
