Hello, my name is Jim Murphy.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I have been in the field since 1992 and began contracting services with UND in January of 2004, while maintaining two other offices here in Grand Forks.

I was fortunate to come to work full time here at UND during the summer of 2005. I very much enjoy visiting with the students who come into our office and working with the friendly and thoughtful staff here at the University Counseling Center.

My wife and I have three grown sons with whom we enjoy spending time as their schedule allows.

Jim has been awarded the Pillar Award. This award is given to individuals who epitomize the values and standards of the Greek community through their service to the Greek Community.
