An important part of the services offered by the University Counseling Center is career counseling.
Center counselors are available to meet with students to assist with the choice of a career or major – in ways tailored to meet individual needs.
A very helpful aspect of this counseling process is career assessment – determining interests, values, environmental orientations, personal likes and dislikes through objective testing.
Assessment instruments such as the Strong Interest Inventory, The Self-Directed Search and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator are all available to assist students with making that important
major or career choice.
