RE:                 WEB-ANNUAL REPORTING

The University of North Dakota Strategic Plan states that each unit within the university will,  Aprepare annual reports to include an analysis of (1) its progress in carrying out the unit strategic plan (including the unit=s progress in carrying out its responsibility for portions of the University=s strategic plan), and (2) plans for the coming year.@  (Quoted from UND Strategic Plan)

The following reminders may be helpful as you are working on your 2003 annual reports:

C                     Final due date for FY2003 Web-Annual Reports is October 15, 2003.  Earlier submittal dates for your annual report and expectations for supplemental reports may be set at the college/unit/division levels.

C                     The Annual Report Website URL (this is where instructions and guidelines can be found) is: http://www.und.nodak.edu/dept/datacol/annualreports/index.htm  

C                     This is also the Website where you will find division-specific (i.e. Academic Affairs, Student and Outreach Services, etc.) instructions and definitions.  Your division and/or unit head may have additional expectations for supplemental reports or appendices.

C                     The majority of the core data is available on the Annual Report Website now.  The resource page will be available not later than September 12, 2003.

C                     The standardized Web-based report template for narrative reporting is available at the Annual Report Website.  Note: At this time, tables and appendices are not compatible with the Web-based template.  The template is designed for narrative reporting only.

C                     Example/sample reports are available for reference purposes on the Website. 

C                     The Office of Institutional Research will be offering Annual Reporting Update classes on September 18 (1:00-2:30 pm) and September 29 (9:00 - 10:30 am) in Upson II, Room 361.  Registration for the classes is being administered by the U2 Office at 7-2128.
