The Common Data Set initiative is a collaborative effort among data providers in the higher education community and publishers as represented by the College Board, Thomson Peterson's, and U.S. News and World Report. The combined goal of this collaboration is to improve the quality and accuracy of information provided for external surveys and to reduce the burden on data providers. This section provides the University of North Dakota's standard data submission and has comprehensive statistics on enrollment, admissions, financial aid, student life, faculty, and annual expenses for the current academic year. This should be used as the primary source of data provided for external surveys.
