UND 2009 CIRP New Freshmen Survey

The Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP), through the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) was founded in 1966 to assess the demographic characteristics, past experiences, current opinions, as well as aspirations of new incoming freshmen. UND, an early survey participant, joined efforts in 1967 and has since been administering this survey on a regular basis. The UND/CIRP report covers major findings from the 2009 survey, compares key areas with national peer institutions, and reports on a few important longitudinal trends.
