Accessible Parking and Transportation
Accessible Parking
Students must have a state issued accessible parking permit in order to receive a UND campus
accessible parking permit. Contact the Parking Office at (701) 777-3551 for information and
a UND parking application.
Transportation
UND provides accessible fixed route shuttle bus service as well as paratransit
(a lift equipped van) on campus. Eligibility for paratransit depends on the degree of mobility
impairment. See DSS or Student Health Services for a referral to paratransit services. Both
services begin on the first day of fall and spring semesters and run weekdays through Finals’
week, with the exception of Reading and Review Day. No service is provided on weekends, holidays,
semester breaks or during summer session.
The City of Grand Forks provides paratransit, called Dial-A-Ride, and accessible fixed route bus
service in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks, MN. Call the Grand Forks City Bus Office at
(70l) 746-8108 for information and a paratransit application or go to
