The curriculum of the Department
of Theatre Arts provides students with opportunities
to pursue either of the undergraduate degrees
of Bachelor of Fine Arts or Bachelor of
Arts, as well as the Master of Arts degree at
the graduate level.
A diversified faculty are
personally involved in and teach the various
areas of the
theatre arts, i.e., playwriting, acting, voice,
movement, directing, history,
dramatic literature, technical theatre, costuming,
set design, lighting, and make-up.
The Department of Theatre Arts and its B.A.
and pre-professional B.F.A. degrees in
Theatre Arts (acting and design) are accredited
by the National Association of
Schools of Theatre. The
curriculum assures a well-rounded experience
in the chosen discipline and the other
fine arts. |
