Julie Anderson pic Julie W. Anderson, '79, '96, '00, is an assistant professor in the UND College of Nursing. She teaches within the Practice and Role Development Department. Julie received a bachelor's degree in 1979, a master's degree in 1996, and a Ph.D. in research methodologies in 2000, all from UND. The award is given by the Department of Educational Foundations and Research.
Charles D. Cheney, '69, '82, is the superintendent of West Fargo Public Schools. He received a master's degree in elementary education in 1969 and a Ph.D. in school administration in 1982, both from UND. The award is given by the Department of Educational Leadership.
Ginny Blake picture Virginia "Ginny" Blake, '75, '86, is an elementary school counselor for Kelly Elementary School in Grand Forks. She has received three degrees from UND including a bachelor's degree in social work in 1975, a bachelor's degree in education in 1986 and a master's degree in counseling in 1986. The award is given by the Department of Counseling.

Rebecca Trapnell, '76, '81, is a third grade teacher at Century Elementary School. She received a bachelor's degree in education in 1976 and a master's degree in education in 1981, both from UND. The award is given by the Department of Teaching and Learning.

Duane Gourneau picture Duane Gourneau, '94, is a mental health specialist at the Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility, part of Indian Health Services. He received a master's degree in social work from UND in 1994. The award is given by the Department of Social Work.
Rob Stiles Rob Stiles, '70, '71, is head coach of the UND men's golf team and assistant professor in the Department of Physical Education and Exercise Science at UND. He received a bachelor's degree in physical education in 1970 and a master's degree in physical education in 1971, both from UND. The award is given by the Department of Physical Education and Exercise Science.
Mark Searle Mark S. Searle, '79, is vice president and provost at Arizona State University West campus and professor of recreation and tourism in the College of Human Services . He received a master's degree in recreation and leisure services from UND in 1979. The Award is given by Recreation and Leisure Services.
