North Dakota State Board of Examiners on Audiology and Speech/ Language Pathology

The mission of the Bureau of Educational Services and Applied Research (BESAR) is to provide technical assistance to members of the North Dakota and regional human services and educational establishment.

Technical assistance generally involves the collection and interpretation of educational data for program evaluations and needs analyses. However, BESAR staffers will discuss any other ways that educational needs of the region can be supported.

Because of the Bureau's affiliation with the College of Education and Human Development, multiple and broad areas of expertise can be tapped. Staff members at BESAR are ready to lend assistance to your project and will put you in touch with the experts you need.

Services offered by BESAR include the following:

*Research support
*Program and grant evaluations
*Needs analyses
*Data collection and interpretation
*Grant writing assistance
*School improvement surveys and analyses

In most cases BESAR's services are on a fee basis. However, since our mission is to support education and human services in the region, fees are reasonable. Please feel free to call or write.
