The Era Bell Thompson Multicultural Center (EBTMC), which houses Multicultural Student Services, encourages the understanding of differences while serving as a place where individuals and groups can learn and share ideas, beliefs and cultures.  This community resource enriches learning and human interaction.  The center's mission is to provide an environment in which all students can feel comfortable in celebrating their cultural heritage. The overarching goal of the center is to provide a base from which African, Hispanic/Latino, and Asian American students can have a positive experience at UND and in the Greater Grand Forks community, while making significant contributions to the personal and intellectual growth of these individuals.
