2008-09 Academic Year

Priority consideration will be given to students admitted to the University by April 15, 2008.

The offer will be based on the GPA for all credits transferred to UND, as calculated by the UND Registrar's Office. 

3.90-4.00 GPA:

• $2,000 ($1,000 per year for two consecutive undergraduate years, payable in equal amounts each semester if all renewal criteria are met). 

3.50-3.89 GPA:

• $1,000 ($500 per year for two consecutive undergraduate years, payable in equal amounts each semester if all renewal criteria are met). 

Students who meet any of the academic criteria above, have financial need and are direct blood descendants of honorably discharged veterans of World War I may receive the LaVerne Noyes Scholarship designation on their award by completing the LaVerne Noyes scholarship application.  The form is available by contacting the UND Student Financial Aid Office.

NOTE:  It is not necessary to designate a specific scholarship at the time of admission.  Students will be matched with the appropriate scholarship through information received from school records and application forms.

Students may accept non-UND scholarships without jeopardizing the amount of their UND scholarship.  This includes National Merit, the North Dakota Scholars Program and any scholarship from national, local, church or civic organizations.
