As long as the courses are for college credits and work towards completion of your degree, you can collect VA Education benefits for courses taken. 

For the 9 month Open Enrollment Courses, VA payments are paid for the semester time frame that you sign up for the course.  You would still have 9 months to complete it, but payments from VA would be during the semester time frame.
