AMERICAN INDIAN POLICY DOCUMENTS

Below, you will find links to a selection of important and unimportant policy documents, relating to, as Ray Fogelson said, historical events and non-events: supreme court decisions, treaties, letters, speeches, and other policy papers. I have selected them because they seem to represent different opinions toward federal Indian policies and thus provide an overview of relations between American Indian nations and citizens and politicians and citizens of the United States. It is also important to know what some of these documents really included.

These documents are in PDF format. They are organized chronologically. I will add more documents over time to create a more inclusive selection.

Have at it,

Sebastian
