INTEGRATED STUDIES

Advantages of studying at
The American College of Norway

The faculty of Integrated Studies encourage every UND student to study abroad no matter where they go, but we think that studying at the American College of Norway is a very unique and beneficial opportunity and we actively promote it for the following reasons:

  • It allows for a very cost-effective and safe way to study abroad .
  • ACN provides a very encouraging and nurturing environment for learning; there are close faculty & staff interactions with students.
  • Since ACN is essentially a branch campus of UND, all courses are UND courses and appear as such on student transcripts.
  • Students pay UND's low tuition rates, so this is one of the most cost effective ways to study abroad.
  • Classes are taught in English by UND professors.
  • Students meet, take courses and often live with students from around the world.
  • Students form deep friendships with international students who often transfer to UND, so those friendships and connections are continued.
  • International travel is affordable and easy from ACN's home city of Moss, Norway
  • Students of Scandinavian descent have the opportunity to re-connect with their heritage.
