Explanation of monitors
The Green dot means that everything is
functioning normally.
The blue dot means that the monitor
has been disabled and we are not checking that system or device. Monitors can
be disabled due to maintenance on the system/device or if the system/device is
no longer used.
The red diamond means that the monitor
failed. This usually indicates there is a problem with that system or device.
When any monitor fails, an email is automatically generated and sent to the
ITSS Help Desk alerting us to the problem so we can take corrective action
(during normal business hours).
When monitors for high priority systems fail an email is sent to the cell phones of the appropriate staff that are in charge of that system so corrective action can be taken.
