Adobe Reader: (www.adobe.com)

Adobe Reader is FREE software that lets you open, view, search, and print PDF files.  It is a stand-alone application.

Adobe Reader is viewable and printable on any platform (multiplatform) - Macintosh, Microsoft Windows, UNIX, and many mobile platforms.

PDF:  (Portable Document Format) is a file format that has captured all the elements of a printed document as an electronic image that you can view, navigate, print, or forward to someone else.  This keeps your information secure.

Adobe PDF files maintain information integrity.  They look exactly like original documents and preserve source file information (text, photos, full-color graphics)

A PDF form can be viewed and fields filled in, but you cannot save a PDF file in Adobe Reader.

PDF forms cannot be created in Adobe Reader.

Note:  If you have Adobe Acrobat Professional or Standard on your machine; it is recommended to have the same version for the Adobe Reader.
