Adobe Reader: Installing Free Stand-Alone Application
Adobe Reader is a FREE program that lets you open, view, search, and print PDF files. It is a stand-alone application in which you do not need Adobe Acrobat Professional or Standard to use it; but if you do have Adobe Acrobat Professional or Standard, it is recommended to have the same version for the Adobe Reader.
Adobe Reader is viewable and printable on any platform (multiplatform) - Macintosh, Microsoft Windows, etc.
PDF: (Portable Document Format) is a file format that has captured all the elements of a printed document as an electronic image that you can view, navigate, print, or forward to someone else.
The easiest way to find Adobe Reader is to search for it in Google or go directly to the Adobe web page: www.google.com or www.adobe.com

Select the hit of Adobe Reader Download – All versions

Note: If you have Adobe Acrobat Professional or Standard on your machine; it is recommended to have the same version for the Adobe Reader.

Once you click on the download button, you will be led through a few easy steps that allow you to identify your language, platform, and connection type. Once you have completed this simple process, the software downloads and install automatically on your system.
