Configure Dreamweaver for www.und.edu

Create a new Site by choosing "New Site" from the Site menu

Click the Advanced Tab

Enter the following:

Local Info

• Site Name: name of your choice that describes the web site, the settings are saved under this name
• Local root folder: browse and select the folder (directory) on your computer where your web files are stored
• Default images folder: unless you have a large number of images this is typically left blank
• Links relative to: Document
• HTTP address: http://www.und.edu
• Case-sensitive links -- leave unchecked
• Cache - "Enable Cache" should be checked

Remote Info

• Access: FTP
• FTP Host: www.und.edu
• Host Directory: web
• Login: your login
• Password: your password
• Click Test to verify your connection
• The remaining checkboxes are unchecked except for "Maintain synchronization Information."

Note: Your setup may vary due to different versions of Dreamweaver.
