Printing Parameter Cards

Option P ISPF/PDF Menu from the North Dakota University System Main Menu

Option 6 Command from the ISPF Primary Option Menu

Type PARMCARD at the primary command line to invoke the PARMCARD REXX exec.

Press ENTER

ISPF Command Shell
Enter TSO or Workstation commands below:

===> PARMCARD

The PARMCARD REXX exec brings up the Online Parameter Card screen.

Fill in the three required entries:

PARMCARD template you wish to use: (ie. undua301)

SOURCE LIBRARY template from one of the four options: (1..4)

STORAGE LIBRARY from one of the three options: (1..3)

Press ENTER to process

Enter the PARMCARD template you wish to use: undua301

Enter the SOURCE LIBRARY template you wish to use: 3
1 - UserID.PARMCARD.LIB
2 - UserID.PRIVATE.LIB
3 - WYL.PUB.PARMCARD
4 - User Defined ___________________________
Enter the STORAGE LIBRARY: 1
1 - UserID.PARMCARD.LIB
2 - UserID.PRIVATE.LIB
3 - User Defined _________________________
Press ENTER key to process.
Press PF3 to exit.

In the EDIT screen make necessary changes (ie. June 1, 1998 - 060198)

When necessary changes have been made press F3 to save your changes to the parameter card in the designated STORAGE LIBRARY.

Print The Parameter Card screen presents two options:

(1) Press ENTER to print the card .. or

(2) Type No over the YES to not print.

(1) Press ENTER to print the card

PRESS ENTER key to print the card YES or enter NO then press
enter key if you do not want to print it at this time.

The following appears stating that the parameter card has been printed at its destination

The parmcard 'USRMK.PARMCARD.LIB(UNDUA301) 'has been printed at dest(r68)

Press ENTER to clear the *** and return to the Online Parameter Card screen

If you would like to submit additional parameter cards fill in the three required entries on the Online Parameter Card screen and press ENTER

Press PF3 to exit

(2) Type No over the YES to not print.

PRESS ENTER key to print the card NO or enter NO then press
enter key if you do not want to print it at this time.

This returns you to the Online Parameter Card screen.

If you would like to submit additional parameter cards fill in the three required entries on the Online Parameter Card screen and press ENTER

Press PF3 to exit
