LOGOFF F3 to the North Dakota University System Main Menu

X to the Specify Disposition of Log Data Set screen

Enter 2. Delete data set without printing in Process Option if you are ready to logoff. When the message 'Ready' is displayed, type LOGOFF and press enter.

If you decided not to LOGOFF Press F3 and you will be returned to the North Dakota University System Main Menu.

Change Password On the initial TSO/E LOGON screen:

Enter your PASSWORD in the Password field

Enter eight character NEW PASSWORD in New Password field

You will be asked to reenter the NEW PASSWORD in the New password field for verification.

The system will not allow you to reuse any of your five previous passwords.

Press enter and all members will be listed. Type a D on the line left of the member name. A message that says *DELETED should appear.

Delete a member outside a Library

Type the Data Set Name using the Data Set Naming Conventions for the third qualifier.

It is highly recommended that you use M for enhanced allocation.

Option D to delete and Key in the Jobname in FOR JOB TO BE SELECTED

If there are multiple jobs with the same name use Option L to List jobnames/id(s) via the TSO STATUS command. All jobnames with job numbers will be displayed. Clear the screen by removing the option L and pressing enter. Option D to delete and Key in the Jobname in FOR JOB TO BE SELECTED and JobID: JOBNN.

This must include all 8 characters including the word JOB.

Print Output-IOF

Class Q is the default output class for TSO

If the job has a status of HELD and Class Q:

Type REL on the underscore of the corresponding DDNAME and type A in place of the Q for class.

If the DEST is other then what is specified in the DEST column, change it to your destination printer by typing the REMOTE number under the DEST column.

Copy a Line

C

Type a C in the line numbers column on the line you want copied. Place an A (after) in the line numbers column you want the data to follow or place a B (before) in the line numbers column where you want the data to appear prior.
Copy multiple Lines

CC

Type a CC in the line numbers column of the first line you want copied and CC in the line numbers column of the last line you want to be copied. Place an A (after) in the line numbers column you want the data to follow or place a B (before) in the line numbers column where you want the data to appear prior.
Move a Line

M

Type a M in the line numbers column on the line you want moved. Place an A (after) in the line numbers column you want the data to followed or place a B (before) in the line numbers column where you want the data to appear prior.
Move Multiple Lines

MM

Type a MM in the line numbers column of the first line you want moved and MM in the line numbers column of the last line you want to be moved. Place an A (after) in the line numbers column you want the data to follow or place a B (before) in the line numbers column where you want the data to appear prior.
Duplicate a line

COP NN to NN.N

Place a R (repeat) on the line to be repeated. The New line will be placed immediately after the line the R was placed on.
Duplicate Multiple Lines Follow instructions to copy multiple lines.
Locate a string

Run a scan of the job Add TYPRUN=SCAN to the job card. Then issue the SUBMIT command. View output online using those instructions.
Sort SORT NN - where NN is the beginning column to sort from.

SORT NN NN - only sorts from column NN to column NN

SORT D - sort in descending sequence

SORT A - sort in ascending sequence

SORT NN A NN D - sort the first column in ascending order and

sort the second column in descending order
