Tab to the line at the beginning of the block.

Type cc within the line command area (right over top of the line #s) to designate the start of the block of lines.

Move to the line at the end of the block.

Type cc within the line command area (right over top of the line #s) to designate the end of the block of lines.

Move to the line immediately before the point to copy the lines.

Type a within the line command area (that's right, right over top of the line #s).

Press enter.

The lines have now been copied.
