Calendar and Task Reminders

You can specify how and when to notify upcoming events and tasks by using Calendar. Each event inherits the users' default notification settings. You can also customize notification settings for each event or task.

To customize notifications:

Click Options on the main screen

  1. Click Notifications.

The Notification tab appears in the central panel. The following properties of notifications are displayed:

  1. Select the Enable Event Notifications check box to enable notifications for your events.

Once you enable the event notifications option, you can set the following attributes for the event:

By default, event notifications are set to 30 minutes before the start of the event.

  1. Enable the Notify me via email of new invitations or invitation changes check box to receive notifications of new or changed invitations.

  2. Click Save Preferences.
