LECTOR PROGRAM
CO-OP CREDIT REQUIREMENTS:

 
 
The students selected to participate in the UND Lector Program at the University of Castilla-La Mancha must register for 3 credits of Lang 397 each semester. The Co-op Languages course is designed to academically support and recognize the work and efforts of the students participating in the program.  S/U grading only.
 
1. ON-SITE FULL PARTICIPATION: Orientation, preparation, teaching, grading, meetings with coordinator, and all UCLM Lector expectations.
 
2. TEACHING JOURNAL:  Minimum of 2 pages, double spaced, per due date. Electronic submission to Professor Routon on October 30, November 30, February 30, and March 30.
 
3. BOOK REVIEW:  3-5 pages review of student-selected and teacher-approved book that addresses any program relevant issue: teaching abroad, living in Spain, education systems, language learning, Spain as a site for immigration and the intersection of languages, cultures (Latin American, Middle Eastern, Eastern European, etc).
