HISTORICAL SKETCH

The first annual Northern Great Plains History Conference was held in Grand Forks at the University of North Dakota in 1966. The conference's location is rotated between different sites throughout the northern Great Plains each year.

The Northern Great Plains History Conference Records date from 1966-2000 and consist of conference programs, Governor's Council minutes and agendas, registration forms, and correspondence.
