The child care program is a major attraction of the SIL-UND program.
It resembles a summer camp more than a day care program.
Activities include arts and crafts, field trips and swimming.
The child care facilities are in the same residence hall
where students and faculty live,
and children eat all meals with their parents.
Child care hours correspond closely with listed class hours.
All children thirteen and under who are living in the dormitory
must be supervised at all times,
normally by being enrolled
in the childcare program.
If you are considering other arrangements,
please discuss them with the SIL-UND Director
before you arrive.
The program is also available to student and staff families who are living outside the SIL dormitory.
Children who are age 14 and over may apply to the
SIL-UND Director
to participate
as helpers in the child care program;
see contact info.
For current charges, see the information on costs.
