Every year Fighting Sioux Battalion cadets participate in Field Training Exercises in both the Fall and Spring semesters.

Cadets hone their skills on the Land Navigation courses, M16 qualification range, Engagement Skills Trainer, Rapelling Towers, Squad Tactical Exercises and Patrolling Lanes.

FTX's take place at Camp Grafton, ND and Camp Ripley, MN.
