Cadets awarded with the HFTP (Helicopter Flight Training Program) Scholarship train hard and have fun doing it.

They learn to fly and earn their FAA Private Pilot Helicopter Certificate during their sophomore year.

During their junior year, cadets train in the Bell 206 Jet Ranger to earn their Instrument Rating.

Senior cadets conclude their years of hardwork by earning a Commercial Helicopter Certificate, entitling them to fly for compensation of hire.
