Every fall the Fighting Sioux Battalion fields a 9-Man team to compete in the Regional 9-Man Ranger Challenge competition. The cadets train for months in preparation for the grueling physical and mental tasks they'll face.
The University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux Battalion has won the regional Ranger Challenge 9-Man competition for 2 years running. Because of this commendable performance, the UND FSB Ranger Challenge team was one of only four ROTC teams to be selected to compete at the invitation only Sandhurst Competition.
