St. Thomas Aquinas Newman Center

The Newman Center is a place of worship for the students of the University of North Dakota. It is a place of growth in the knowledge of our Lord and His Church. It is also a place where friends come together for work, study and play.

St. Thomas Aquinas offers many opportunities to learn about the Catholic Faith whether you are Catholic and want to enhance your faith, or a non-Catholic wanting to learn more.

NEW Mass Times:

Tuesday through Thursday: 5:15pm, Friday: 12:10pm

Saturday: 5:15pm, Sunday: 9:00am, 11:00am, and 5:15pm

 

Sunday Suppers: Join us every Sunday night after the 5:15pm Mass for a $1 Supper and event! Starts September 13th.

FOCUS: Many Bible studies are offered through the Fellowship of Catholic University Students. Check out national website: www.focusonline.org

Inquiry Classes: Everyone is welcome to join Inquiry in order to learn more about the Catholic Church. Classes begin September 15th and continue through the year on Tuesdays at 7pm.

Library: Many books on faith are located in the lower level library.

Friday Night Events: Every Friday, students gather for social activites at the Newman Center. These included dances, movie nights, sports and much more!

Bike Race: Each year, we face off against the NDSU Newman Center to raise funds for our Newman Center. Join us for the the Bike Race on April 24, 2010.

Clubs and Organizations: You may get involved in St. Vincent de Paul, Knights of Columbus, Collegians for Life or help with the Giving Tree.

Liturgical Life: The Newman Center has many opportunities to help at Mass. Sign up to become a Lector, Mass Coordinator, Server or an Extraordinary Minister of the Holy Eucharist. If Music is your interest, we have a choir for the weekend Masses that you may participate in.

Rooms at the Newman Center: We have quiet rooms available for study. We also have a TV room to relax in, and a game room complete with pool table and foosball table. In our auditorium the coffee is always on and the popcorn is fresh!! Internet access is available. Bring your PC or use the computer provided.
