Program Assessment Resource Team (PART)
Designed to support departments in their efforts to assess student learning, the Program Assessment Resource Team is made up of ten faculty, specially trained in program assessment, who will serve as on-campus consultants to other departments and programs engaged in program assessment work. Led by Assistant Provost for Assessment Ken Ruit, the team meets regularly to share information and ideas on program-level assessment.
PART members are prepared to assist departments in a variety of ways, including reviewing existing department assessment plans, sitting in on discussions in departments, advising faculty on how to conduct portfolio reviews, holding workshops on particular methods of data collection (e.g., survey design, focus group procedure) or methods of analysis and documentation (e.g., assessment rubrics that articulate standards of professional judgment).
Programs and departments wanting to use the services of the Resource Team should contact Assistant Provost for Assessment Ken Ruit at kenruit@medicine.nodak.edu, or 777-2570. |
