Their goal is to foster appreciation of Scottish heritage through the performance of traditional and non-traditional highland dances while performing on a social level rather than a competitive one. The dancers radiate their joy and love of highland dance even when they are concentrating all their skill and energy on these elegant and vigorous dances. Live musicians often accompany the ENA SUTTON HIGHLAND DANCERS on the bagpipes and bodhran. With a swirl of plaid and the unique sound of the bagpipes, the ENA SUTTON HIGHLAND DANCERS will bring you the timeless pleasures and talents of Scottish dance.

Viva Capoeira is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of Capoeira in Winnipeg. Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art developed by slaves and native in Brazil. They disguised their movements as a dance in order to be allowed to continue. The result is an energetic, flowing progression with elements of dance, gymnastics and martial arts. Workshops offer dynamic and motivating classes in Capoeira and Maculélé. Contra-Mestre Indio, 3-time Brazilian Capoeira champion and new Winnipeg resident began Viva Capoeira to teach students the movements of Capoeira and improve their fitness while providing them with a Brazilian cultural experience with all aspects of Capoeira.
