There are several ways to consult with an International Student Advisor

Walk In Hours

Walk in hours are held daily Monday through Thursday.  No appointment is necessary during this time.  Students will be seen by an advisor in the order in which they check in with the front desk staff.

Spring Semester Walk in Hours:

Wednesdays 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Thursdays 12:30 p.m. t0 1:45 p.m.

Walk in hours are ideal for short questions and I-20 signatures.  More extensive matters may require an appointment.

Scheduling an appointment

Appointments with the International Student Advisors are available Monday through Thursday.  You may schedule an appointment in person by stopping by the International Centre and making an appointment through the front desk staff.  You may also schedule an appointment by phone by calling 701-777-4231.  The International Student Advisors are not able to schedule appointments by email request.

Students are assigned a primary International Student Advisor based on the first letter of their last (family) name. 

Students whose last names begin with letters A-K are assigned to Shannon Jolly

Students whose last names begin with letters L-Z are assigned to Anne Ekkaia

Information Sessions

Employment information sessions (OPT, CPT) are held every other Tuesday during the semester.  If you are considering applying for Optional Practical Training or Curricular Practical Training, you should first attend an information session.  Click here for a list of dates and times.
