Adelphi Fountain

The Adelphi Fountain was reinstalled in July 2007 after a year of absence from the campus for restoration work.

In retirement, the Kupchellas will be moving to their new home in the mountains of Pennsylvania. “For the first time in 45 years, we’ll be near much of our family,” says Adele. They will remain busy: Adele has agreed to serve on the board of trustees of Mount Aloysius College in Pennsylvania. For the time being, Chuck plans to continue to be pAdele Kupchellaart of C Change, the national cancer program he’s been involved with for several years. He also may do some board work or part-time teaching and administration. As president emeritus, he will work with alumni and friends to build financial support for UND initiatives.

Chuck plans to spend some time writing fiction, playing music, and maybe even writing songs. He also hopes to take a language course.

Adele looks forward to volunteer work and promoting wellness and exercise, especially for the elderly and people in poor health. She will enjoy having more time for reading, sewing, quilting, baking, and cooking.
