The University of North Dakota is in excellent shape and in many ways is already one of the top 100 public universities in the United States, UND President Charles Kupchella said during his State of the University Address to the University Council Wednesday, Oct. 18, in the UND Memorial Union Ballroom.

As part of his report on the University, Kupchella talked about the accomplishments of the past year, the status of current programs, and the challenges of today and the future. He also gave updates on the lawsuit against the NCAA and UND's plans to move the rest of its athletic programs alongside Men's and Women's Hockey as Division I programs.
