Epidemiology of injury in sport; injury and growth; and the effects of intensive training on growth.
Profile
Dr. Caine is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Physical Education, Exercise Science and Wellness. Outside of his work, Dennis and his wife Caroline enjoy looking after their dog and cats, spending time outdoors and at the UND Wellness Center, watching movies and attending dance and theatre productions, and traveling to visit their grown children, extended family and friends.
Prior to coming to UND, Dr. Caine was a Professor in the Department of Physical Education, Health and Recreation at Western Washington University where he worked from 1992-2007. He began his career as a physical education teacher and taught physical education in Canada and with the Canadian Department of National Defense in Germany.
